DnA is David and Aimee.

We moved from Oakland, CA to Kingston in 2017 as Aimee was offered a job at the O+ festival, which involves the exchange of arts and music for wellness services. Aimee had lived in Kingston many years ago and had also volunteered for the festival in San Francisco and Petaluma so there were some existing connections to Kingston and O+. Luckily for me my company made everyone remote so I could relocate to the east coast.

I was inspired to make chili from two sources, first was from my sister in-law Ingrids dad, William, who used to grow his own chilis and made a cracking chili sauce. Second source was from Natures Vegetarian Chinese restaurant in Oakland who made their own chili sauce.

I was lucky to have been given some dried chili from William which I grew and every batch we make has a micro dose of Williams chilis.

We both have full time jobs and have a large house restoration project which keeps us pretty busy, but we do try and make a batch of the chili every month.
